Nicht helfen zu können lässt mich sprachlos bleiben. Aber ich möchte mit dieser Email Ihnen das beste von ganzem Herzen wünschen – und dass Sie (und viele der Flüchtlinge) bald ein sicheres Zuhause und eine sichere Zukunft irgendwo auf dieser Welt finden.

Not to be able to help you leaves me speechless. But I wanted to express, that I wish you all the best from my heart – and that you (and many of the refugees) will find a safe home and future somewhere on this world.

Dear Mahmud, I am an ajay in Rome at the church where you went for clothes and food. Your story was very touching, I will spread it around. I am sure your life will continue again: you and the other Afghan young boys have an important mission, and it is that of changing our hearts which have become so hard, making them beat again when we see yous and all your sufferings. My mission is to help other people to open their eyes so that they can SEE you and all the boys like you.
